StoryNet is the National
Storytelling Network's
(NSN) webpage. The NSN provides services that are "designed to improve the quality
of
storytelling at all levels - in entertainment venues, in classrooms and
libraries, and wherever storytelling can make a contribution to quality
of life." StoryNet contains a directory of storytellers
throughout the country as well as information about its programs and
events, including Tellabration! and
the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, TN. Bill
Jones has performed as Teller-In-Residence at the International
Storytelling Center and at Tellabration!
in Memphis and Germantown, TN
and Roswell, GA.

Boundary Waters

The Boundary Waters
Journal is a quarterley magazine that contains articles about the
Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Quetico National Park and
Superior National Forest. Bill Jones has been traveling to this
area since 1961 and describes his first trip on his fourth CD, The
Canoe Trip and Other Journeys of Discovery.
He has also
been published in the Boundary Waters Journal 5 times. You can
find his stories in the Summer 1995, Winter 1998, Summer 1999, Spring
2001, and and Summer 2003 issues.

Donald
Davis, Storyteller

Donald Davis is a
world reknowned storyteller who has been a friend and mentor to Bill in
his
Storytelling profession. Bill and Donald attended Davidson
College together in the 1960's where they sang in the Male Chorus and
Lamplighters (octet)
together. They continue to share a close friendship and love
of stories. Donald's website contains biographical information
and a list of upcoming performances.

Molasses Creek is a
bluegrass band that features residents of Ocracoke Island, NC.
Bill became friends with and fans of Molasses Creek while attending
Donald Davis' storytelling workshop on Ocracoke Island. Bill has
helped produce two performances of Molasses Creek in Memphis and told
stories for the artists who performed at Molasses Creek's 2005 Ocrafolk
Festival.

May, 2002. The school was
